K-Flex Collapsible Drum IBC

K-Flex is a low cost alternative for IBCs. It is easy to store as it is collapsed when empty. K-Flex is a good solution both for shipping and storage at about half the price of an IBC.

Transporting liquids has been a challenge since ancient times. Throughout history, we’ve relied on wooden barrels, plastic containers, and metal drums. Round and cylinder shapes have always been dominant when shipping liquids. But the cubical shape that the boxfish relies offers immense structural strength.

Today, we have many options for liquid storage and transportation, including bins, drums, barrels, IBCs, and more. While they are reliable, the collapsible versions of them are not.

Our Ccubicus technology provides a cubical shape that saves space, offers enhanced durability, and is collapsible. Its composite form features an exterior made of woven polypropylene and woven fabric with polypropylene supporting tubes. The system requires a “cassette” which is made out of two plies of polyethylene with a carton protection.

The outer fabric is made of polypropylene and the inner liner is made of polyethylene.

The K-Flex has similar characteristics to a standard IBC. You can fill it in the top and discharge through the bottom. Compared to the IBC, the K-Flex is a very cost-effective solution. The only restriction on K-Flex is that it cannot be used with hazardous products.

K-Flex starts from 750LT and goes up to 2000LT capacity. Based on your requirements we can design a custom K-Flex for you to provide the exact capacity needed.

We provide different models of K-Flex which are suitable for 20ft and 40ft containers, as well as for direct transport with trucks.

Steam Liner for K-Flex…

For solidifying cargos like liquid sugars, palm oil, and other edible oils we developed a fast heating method. Steam Liner is a chamber to preserve and circulate steam all around the K-Flex bottom, center and top. Steam directly transmits heat to the cargo from all directions, rather than just bottom of the tank like a conventional heating pad.
